Katherine is a Hobart based artist whose work is dedicated to raising awareness of the beauty and fragility of our wildlife and their habitats.
Her work is particularly drawn to the birdlife of our wilderness areas, islands and oceans.
She has been exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally since 1990 and her works are represented in corporate and private collections in Australia, UK, USA and the House of Krug, France.
Katherine was the winner of the Holmes Art Prize for Excellence in Realist Bird Art 2015 and a Finalist in 2016 and was recently voted the People's Choice Award Winner - Wrest Point Art Award 2017.
Winner of the 3rd round Artist of the Year with the Wildlife Art Society of Australia in 2014.
She was also a Finalist in the BBC Wildlife Artist of the year 2012 and 2011.
In 2012, Katherine traveled to the Shetland Isles to participate in a 6 month art residency and exhibition held at The Old Haa, Isle of Yell, Shetland.
